Content Manager


MetroDeal’s Knowledge Management team is responsible for creating content. We are now seeking to expand our team with the addition of a full-time Content Manager.

Reporting to the Content Team Lead, the Content Manager will work closely with other teams and have primary responsibility for the continuous improvement and promotion of knowledgebase content.

The role would suit someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a background in writing for the web, a keen eye for detail, and a strong ability to build trust and drive change. Experience in digital media/digital marketing would also be a distinct advantage, as the successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the user experience of customer service teammates in the future.



  • Creating and updating content to reflect feature or policy changes
  • Managing a varied and often challenging workload
  • Working closely with other Knowledge Management disciplines to create the best possible knowledge offering
  • Continually improving content based on feedback and metrics
  • Advising on content standards, such as style guides
  • Liaising with a variety of stakeholders and cross functional teammates



  • Flexibility to adjust schedule as business needs dictate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Writing for the web experience desirable
  • Digital media/digital marketing background considered an advantage
  • Project management skills
  • 3+ years professional experience in online writing, copywriting, editing, or a related field
    BA or BS degree in Literature, Journalism, Communications, Library Science or a related field

As the first point of contact, we are sending out a call to patient, resourceful, charming, and efficient problem-solvers who strive to provide the only the best customer experience. The position entails phone and email communication with our current and future subscribers, thus playing a vital role in affecting the reputation of MetroDeal. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Taking customer queries via telephone and email and providing an appropriate response
  • Responding to customer queries and complaints using an appropriate communication method
  • Taking ownership for queries and complaints from first contact to resolution
  • Completing relevant administration to document customer enquiries and complaints
  • Treating our subscribers and future subscribers like royalty
  • Provide top notch customer support that leaves the consumer happy and satisfied

Your Skills

  • Fluent in English with an excellent standard of written and spoken communication
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills
  • Flexibility, strong organisational skills, communication skills and professionalism
  • Competent user of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation are all essential
