Spread a thin strip of mayonnaise horizontally across the middle of the rice then line the crab sticks over it
Using a firm grip, roll the bamboo mat halfway while making sure that it is pressed tight then continue rolling all the way
Using a sharp knife moistened with water, trim both ends of the maki then make a cut right in the middle of the roll
Cut each half further into three equal pieces then serve with pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi on the side
